Petros Kyprianou
Petros Kyprianou is the current Director of Track & Field and Cross Country at the University of Illinois, where he led the Fighting Illinois to their first Big 10 title in 20 years in only his second year helming the program. Under Coach Petros’ tuteledge, high jumper Rose Yeboah won the 2024 NCAA outdoor championships and competed int he 2024 Paris Olympics. The former head coach of the University of Georgia men's and women's track and field teams, Petros lead the Bulldogs to two national championships in five seasons, and was voted 2018 Indoor & Outdoor National Coach of the Year by the US Track and Field Coaches Association.
