Wondery announces new Annie Agar-hosted NFL podcast

Wondery's newest sports podcast will focus on the NFL and be hosted by Annie Agar.

Agar came to prominence during the pandemic with a series of Zoom meeting parody videos that caught fire on social media. In 2021, she parlayed that into a gig with Bally Sports as an NFL and college football correspondent.

Wondery has been steadily growing its slate of sports podcasts over the last year or so, including adding the long-running Road Trippin’ podcast via its partnership with JJ Redick’s ThreeFourTwo Productions.

Last year, Wondery debuted a new NBA podcast, Six Trophies, hosted by Ringer alums Shea Serrano and Jason Concepcion. The company also debuted Alternate Routes, a sports alternate history podcast hosted by Trey Wingo and Kevin Frazier, in March. Those two podcasts, along with the Michelle Beadle and Peter Rosenberg hosted Over the Top, were added to Prime Video in March as part of a new partnership between Wondery and Amazon.
